Hi there-
My skinny pig, Mickey, recently showed two hard bumps on her skin. The one on her side is much harder and neither of them appear to bother her when touched, rubbed or poked. She hasn't been chewing that area and she has been eating, playing, drinking as per usual. She has a cage mate of the same age and gender so perhaps it could be a nick from a nail? Any suggestions on what it could be are appreciated. Thank you!

It looks to me to be a polop but I've no veterinary qualifications. Might be best just to pop her along to the vet.

They look like potential (harmless) sebaceous cysts to me, but we recommend to have all lumps vet checked as they reuqire a hands-on examination in order to diagnose correctly. some piggies have a genetic disposition to be 'lumpy'.
