Pebble is off to the vets

Dear Pebble,
It's best to not be too obliging even if you like the big syringe. We superior beings need to keep our servants on their toes, don't make their lives too easy. I am being a right little (insert naughty word!) according to my people. I have decided taking my daily medicine in the cage without giving them the run around is no fun. After a month of being good to them I have made them work hard for the last 2 weeks, this morning I was very "good". I'm working on my next trick!
Kindest regards, Timmy.

Come on handsome Pebble
The girls say they like a chunky hunk 😘 so keep eating 😀
all of mine have given Critical Care and Bio Lapis a wide berth, they do seem to love Supreme Science Recovery Plus though

Supreme Science Recovery Plus for Small Animals
It seems to be cheapest on either Amazon or Viovet at the moment.
It might be worth trying if he doesn't like cc.
Xx

Dear Timmy

Stop running away and run towards this delicious medicine. You know you like it.

Love Pebble

Morning how is Pebble? 💐
He’s had 15mls, some banana and his veggie sticks so far today. Just about to give him his lunch feed, followed by banana and grass.

He actually put on 23g! overnight. Don’t know how and I don’t want to believe it but hopefully it’s correct 🤞🏻

My apologies, I have fallen misfortune to a predictive text typo, and not checking before posting. 😢

Keep munching Pebble. 🥬
I didn’t even notice. As I have had a Pepper 🌈 it is sounded right.

He lost 20g overnight. But he still seems ok. We are still plodding on with the feeds.

I think I’ll call the vets today and see what they say. Is a week too soon to see him eating hay?

Remember the fluctation too! I think its around 30g?

No, its never too earl to call the vets and get some advice. Maybe Pebble need another painkiller, or something that helps him stress down after this? Or maybe they missed something?

Holding you and Pebbles in my heart 🥰

At least he's a good weight and I guess from teeth filing day he hasn't 'lost' as such as it's less than 50g but you're right to monitor it and follow your gut feeling any good vet won't mind a call 💐

Morning - do you have any thing you can add into the hay for him to start snuffling about ? I put a bit of cut grass in the hay pile - not much and chopped up really small but it did encourage hay eating. I also put a tiny bit of dried celery in there which again is high scented and difficult to actually eat without hay. Cut up some hay real short for him and see if that helps. Fingers crossed x
