Hi!
Does anyone else’s guinea pigs kick the other?
I don’t think it’s a problem but I find it quite funny as you can tell when one is readying a kick, he backs himself up and aims and then drop kicks the other haha.

Oh yes my Elvis drop kicks his house brothers all the time they ain't hurt so I think it's just playing

Piggies are well know for their backward swipes at each other - and even with us humans if we stroke where they don’t want to be touched! It’s a mild dominance bickering type of behaviour.

Lucy used to do this quite often to Harry (who was officially the most annoying pig who ever lived).
However her favourite was spraying pee all over him. Personally the kicks didn't seem that bad.....

I just had to reply to this as it made me smile, My Gizmo who wheeked over the rainbow bridge a month ago used to do the most amazing high kick with his back legs, almost his whole rear end used to come off the floor then he would run of all happy with himself! He was such a mischievous piggie, i think sometimes he would do it to make Smokey Joe chase him and play!
