What a character! I'm always amazed how much like a mini dog a free roaming house piggie is... The visits to Skye are so funny!

And I'm so glad that she's doing so well and has started to put up weight again. I bet the place she's having in your heart is ten times bigger!
 
She is an absolute star & now has a bum! You can feel something in your hands when you hold her & she's not shy at all. Both her & Skye were running around "Maddies Room" tho' Maddie wasn't impressed & had to be banished to her cage for chattering at them - i think she thought she had to share her space again! :(|):(|)
 
Update - Fantastic News!

When Pops had her teeth done on Friday one fell out. I was so worried this might put her back, as she had been eating more and more throughout the week. I couldn't have been more wrong. Since then she hasn't stopped eating. I haven't syringe fed her since Friday morning and her weight has now increased to 772g! Everytime I look at her she is munching! I can't believe the turn around! I can remember wanting her to get to 600g so badly and thinking she would never get there, and then when things started to pick up being really excited when she got to 700g. I am starting to think she could make the 800g mark very soon!

Well done Poppet! You have never given up! I love you so much! xxxxxx
 
Go on, Poppet, you'll make it, and make your mummy the happiest mummy in the world! You're such a tenacious lady anyway!

She was tucking into the largest ever romaine lettuce leaf tonight! Skye thought it was big enough for them to share, but NO! Pops had other ideas!

She's one fiesty little madam, but then I think it's this attitude that's carried her through all this!

What a lovely story, has she been on this earth before do you think? She sounds a real sweetheart and full of character. Reading this thread has made my day, thanks for sharing.x>>
 
You know, I'm in tears hearing about her progress as I'm so happy for Pops AND you Debs. She is a miracle piggie and I agree with what Sharon says, I bet she's been on earth in a lifetime before and regretted giving up then, so now she's giving it large!
