Possible stroke help

I am so sorry to hear about this, what an awful situation through no fault of your own. Thank goodness that she is with you as you are giving her the best possible chance. She is in good hands at Alfreton and if anyone can save her they will. Poor little girl.

Well i had to call the vets hospital this morning as couldnt wait any longer. She made it through the night and was stable. The lady on reception told me they would carry out her op this morning and let me know a little later. so as soon as i have some news will let you know.
How can such a little thing pull on your heart strings so much :)

Oh god poor angel. Great she made it through the night. Hope the op goes ok.

Hoping all goes well with the op.
Good that she made it through the night.
Holding you in my thoughts

just spoke to a nurse at the vets,
shes come through the operation ok and they have taken her out of the incubator. The nurse told me its good for her to have come this far but i need to remember now is the critical time shes still very groggy and they will try to get her to eat very soon either by syringe or fresh veg
We have decided to let her stay their for the night as its the best place for her.
Thank you for all the kind wishes..
will keep you all posted :)

Glad to hear she has come though the operation, hopefully she starts eating soon.

Everything crossed! X

Thank you. will be a very long couple of days.
i did ask them if it was a deady baby and she told me it was, but it was a very early baby that was hardly formed which is the reason she couldnt pass it out herself.
There have been so many things that have been missed or over looked with this little one I'm so pleased shes still with us.

You are doing a great job, Hope Peanut makes a full recovery soon, you all deserve it x

Keeping her in my thoughts and hope tomorrow bring good news. ❤️❤️

The nurses are really good at looking after the piggies, so hopefully she will turn the corner soon. At least she will start to feel better without the dead baby inside her. Have they removed her uterus or just taken out the dead baby? Keeping everything crossed for her and hoping for the best.

Just caught up with this thread. What an awful time you have been having. Let us know how she and you get on tomorrow.

oh crumbs! what an awful situation to be in, i would definitely get the pet shop to cough up something towards the bill.

i have no advice but just a truckload of healing vibes being sent your way! hoping you bring home loads of painkillers to see her through when she's out.
you're doing a fantastic job, keep it up, although you must be exhausted!

come on Peanut, you can do it - fingers & paws all crossed here for a full & speedy recovery.

xx

Hope she does recover quickly.
It’s an anxious time looking after a piggy in a situation like this.
One of my girls recently had an emergency spay but is now recovering well and I ‘m calming down.
Hope you are feeling less stressed too and Peanut recovers quickly

Thank you, Yes its very stressful, I'm glad to hear your little one is ok

Just had a call from the vets. They have been feeding her through the night via syringe and she seems to have eaten a few leaves on her own, shes been to the toilet a few times so things are going well.
If all goes well through out the day, We have an appointment to collect her tonight at 6.30 so fingers are still crossed.
Thanks for all the support. i know its early days but starting to feel alot happier :tu:

Just caught up on this. How horrible! Glad to hear Peanut's fighting; she's lucky to have you. :) Keep the records and receipts of all the vet bills for the pet shop. x

So glad she’s coming home.
She will do much better in her home environment with you to love her and care for her
