Junior Guinea Pig
Preventing illnesses isn't that hard to do. Some GP's are born with bad genetics so the owner most times can't prevent the illness but should go straight to a vet.
1: Keep your piggie's cage clean.
Guinea pigs are low to their cage and breath in step in and eat in their potty.
Spot clean 1-2 times a day. If the cage is is big, maybe 2-3 times a week.
Check out this video on YouTube.....
2: Make sure your piggie have hay at all times.
Hay helps keep down their teeth and helps them digest their food.
80% of a guinea pigs diet is hay.
3: Feed Veggies Daily.
Piggies need vitamin c because their bodies don't produce it themselves.
Veggies provide that vitamin c.Here is a video on good and bad veggies....
4: Keep in pairs
Keeping guinea pigs in pairs is essential to good health.
It has been proven that guinea pigs in pairs or larger groups tend
that liveto not get sicknesses as often or not at all as guithat live
on their own. If your guinea pig is living alone, look at this video......
Thank you for reading my blog. Make sure to comment any other ways to prevent guinea pig illnesses. :=) Have a happy piggie day!
