Adult Guinea Pig
So Honey was at the vets yesterday, come home, and she was rather wet and had soggy poops, I assumed her wet belly/bum was from her being in a fairly small space and her just sitting in her own wee, and then the soft poops were from the fact she had her morning veggies, then I packed her some "after op" veggies to encourage her appetite" but when we got her home (she didn't end up having her op today) she had already been given her evening veggies at 12 o'clock... last night her poops continues to be rather soft, however they were not runny... saw her eating hay but I'm aware she hasn't touched her pellets (from what Ive seen)... this morning... what a mess! Poop was squished into her paws, and her eyes were crusty underneath/in the corners... I cleaned her up and weighed her where she has lost about 30g (however her weight is prone to fluctuate, even on vet records) and then I started feeding her some hay (to try and dry out the poops)... she was willingly taking it however after feeding it her for a while I realised she was dropping the more "stick" like pieces of her hay but happily eating the leafy parts... could this be teeth issues? Anyway she'll be going back to the vets today to try figure something out
If they suggest that it is her teeth, would I be sensible to make a 2 hour trip to Simon? And just incase, does anyone have rough prices of Simon? (Consultation and anything they've experienced with his care) would be much appreciated!
