We're rather stubborn.

Chez just hit mom. He was begging for cookies and sometimes if she lets him lick her finger enough he realizes it's not food and gives up.

But he was licking then got frustrated and took his paw and hit her finger.

She just left the room. They already got a cookie.
 
Hello survivors,

yesterday I was quite furious. Slaves are back to work again after vacations and I dont really like being left without someone to open the fridge for me the whole day!

So, when slave came home I had made a little mess. I was jumping and bodyslamming the grids because I was so hungry!
Slave was very tired after a day at an amusement park and fell asleep with Djingis in the cuddle box. He woke her up and said it was finally Kongos turn!

It doesn't matter how tired slave is, she still just has to cuddle me. I was very happy, wanted kisses on my nose and fell asleep. Good thing slave only works two days and then she has a free week with me!

Don't worry, Stripe will cope. He's a clever piggy. But there might be a rebellion 🥔🥔

It's taking Truffle a while to get his ideas together 🐾. He is a bit 💘 😉 if you know what I mean, poor boy. MS upset him by calling the piggies recently featured in discussions "angry potatoes" 🥔🥔 Admittedly MS does have fresh coriander on standby and said something to the effect that she thinks potatoes are really cute in fact (?). So to cheer Truffle up (and get things moving regarding the fresh coriander) I agreed to send a quick wheekmail to Miss Bramble, who, I am sure, will be outraged by the term "angry potatoes" 🐾✉️

MS said she never gets piggy kisses, only nips. I helpfully pointed out that Djingis is a great kisser. I have green lips currently and Djingis is modelling raspberry lips, would she like to take her choice. I think I can hear the sound of coriander being chopped up very fine in the kitchen 😋🌱

Did your Slave really call you "angry potatoes"?!? If she did that is an outrage! How very dare she! Guinea pigs by their very nature do not get angry nor do they resemble potatoes (doesn't your stupid Slave realise that we would never actually liken ourselves to something that is poisonous to us?). You need to ensure this doesn't happen again.

I've looked in leaftlet "What to do when your Slave calls you rude names" and page 2, paragraph 4 a states "Should your Slave start to call rude names then you should
  • Turn your bum towards her whenever she comes in your room or near your cage so she knows you're not happy with her.
  • Wheek loudly at every given opportunity.
  • When your Slave has you out for cuddle time deposit a large pile of poops of protest on her lap and also a large wee making sure that you deliberately miss the pee pad."
Following the above advice will ensure that you never get called rude names again.

Djingis can also recommend a bit of carrot around the mouth! Dont let the buttwipes take your breakfast away!
Kongo: thats MY buttwipes! Slave, use them on my butt first and then around Djingis mouth, yes?

How much forage do your girls get a day?

Chez doesn't eat any pellets so I don't want him low on calcium. I've been giving a large pinch daily but I see calcium wees every time now.

Do yours always have calcium wees?

I don't want to under or over do
 
My piggies don't really eat forage 🙁. It's a nice thing to have on standby to brighten up their menu though 🥗

Mine get a half bowl of mixed forage every night for supper. There are a cloudy calcium wees but nothing gritty.
 
Slave woke up this morning and was FRIGHTENED when I put my nose up in the air demanding breakfast. Bloody nose! What did I do? Well, I got some veryveryvery good watermelon before slave went to bed yesterday. And that's all it was. Dried watermelon. Slave asked my why I dont wash myself after smearing melon everywhere. I said I got a bad influence in Djingis and slave brought him here, so Its her fault.

Djingis acts a bit tired today. Slave will monitor him.

Hi, Chez here. I'm in my cage but in an hour I'm having floor time. I've never had a hay poke, never been on meds. In fact I've never even had one poop that hasn't been perfect. I just love begging and being naughty.

It's playpen time! Stripe was naughty trying to get under the pillowcase to Chez. I worry about a fight. He's now back in his cage, zooming while Chez eats a cookie during his turn. Chez is having popcorn fits in the pen and Stripe is zooming in his cage.

MS is rather envious, we don't zoom a lot, even in the play pen 🏎️

Well mom would like you guys, because honestly we don't really like to be pet. We tolerate it in the snuggle sack but we really don't like it. She is just content to watch us.
