Suspected Ringworm

@Wiebke sorry to pester you again, as Misty is still finishing off the anti fungal treatment (the vet said to just finish off what's left in the bottle) so this may sound silly but has the post ringworm quarantine still started a week ago? Or would it ideally be from the end of treatment? I just really do not want this all again 😓

Yes, the ringworm quarantine has started a week ago the moment the ringworm has stopped being active, whether you continue with the medication or not. I would recommend to leave a little in reserve so you can treat straight away in the case that there is the rogue spore that has escaped.

Okay just thought I'd double check, thank you once again, that's a good idea, in that case I'll stop treatment tonight

So tomorrow I am hoping to bond Misty with willow. it has been 2 weeks since Misty got the all clear, and 3 weeks since the acute phase would've been over. I gave Misty one final bath this afternoon, to remove any spores potentially sitting on her coat. Does it sound like I've got the all clear for the ringworm and is it safe to go ahead with bonding tomorrow?

Yes, it is. All the best!
You might see a bit of dominance behaviour at first as the girls re-establish their relationships.

What a relief. And also, if I was to have got it, I'm assuming I would also see symptoms by now also? I'm still a little paranoid about it all 😂 I did quite a bit of research when initially bonding Willow with Honey🌈 but I'll give the link another read! Thank you!

Take a deep breath of relief - if anything was going to happen, it should have happened by now! Well done! :tu:

I know it's so easy to treat, but it's those pesky spores that were doing my head in thinking off! Whys it gotta spread itself like that 🙄🤣

Because ringworm is so successful that way... ;)
The world is unfortunately not running to your own convenience. Don't work yourself up over maybes are likely never coming to pass and get on with tackling any problems that need tackling right now.

Just take a deep breath and get on with life now.
