The Beastie Boys

Mr Bob has a URI. I noticed he was sneezing rather a lot over the weekend. He's got no other symptoms but when I listened to his chest I could hear raspy breathing. Luckily the vet was able to get him in this morning and I caught it very early. He's really not liking meds, even metacam. It's been a very long time since I had to struggle with giving syringes.

Oh brother Bob, I've heard about ruff in your nose! I'm with you buddy. Me myself had a near death experience with dust from fresh wood-bedding earlier today and I was very dramatic about it. Like a baby should be. Have a extra speedy recovery now!

Your little brother in crime Benny Benzino

PS: Djingis Kahn did not like Metacam either. He gave slave a real fight with Metacam and he loved syringes.

Bann chewed at so many syringes, lol. "Gimme that back I WAS ENJOYING THAT." Yes Bann, enjoying it so much you didn't care there was actually baytril inside it, lol.

Mourne doesn't like syringes nor anything that goes in them. That was quite the experience after medicating Bann for so long.

Mr Bob is having a stinky teenage day. There's been some nose punching and chasing but it keeps ending with mutual popcorning. Sir George still seems to be delighted by Bobs cheekiness, so I'm feeling optimistic about the bond lasting. I feel like it helps that Sir George is going to be 4 soon.

Mr Bob is fully recovered, no loss of weight or appetite. He's now 1026g, getting much less skittish when he's in the cage and goes to sleep (eyes closed!) at every lap time.
I have created a pair of monsters.
Breakfast, offer each a pellet, get stared at.
Top up both hay piles, they both get inspected then I get stared at.
Open the tub containing the green oat hay, this induces popcorning and squeaks.
Put a little green oat hay on hay piles...
THEN they will eat.

Wonderful news about Bob! Well done. That's amazing about the sleeping too, so nice.

I love the staring. Especially the double stare - stare once, look back at the offering, stare again with even more disdain and disbelief. Pigggies go from 0 to scandalised in such a short amount of time!

Yours sound extremely relaxed and entitled - just as it should be!
