I still can't believe my husband let me keep him, after "I only want two girls... Oh no, one's pregnant... Aaagh and the other one... Excuse me while I take over the whole lounge with baby guinea pigs...!"

Ah,but he knows resistance is futile and he's probably more under their spell than you realise.

Oh definitely - Thor is "actually very cute, isn't he?" ;)

Sorry @ayemee I totally missed your message! Thor is doing really well thank you, completely back to his old self and tearing around his cage or perching on top of his wooden bridge to get a good look at the girls next door. I am so looking forward to introducing them fully in a few more weeks - Pixel and Widget are his aunty and mum respectively so it'll be like a really incestuous family reunion! :vom: :P

It was exactly the same with Rebel, Lola is his mam and Angel is his auntie. ;) 2 years after neutering, they're still one big happy family. :D

Hey everyone, just a little update on fluff-bum Thor-pig - today is exactly six weeks since losing his man parts! :yahoo:

I have a cage extending session planned for this weekend and some lovely new snuggle toys on their way shortly so I'd like to get everything sorted before I let him go feral in there! I'm having a rather bad time at work at the mo so haven't managed to get round to it before.

Soon, fluff-pig, soon...

Phew just read through the thread and I wish I did one for Rory now!
His neutering was complication free, had him in fleece which in turn helped me make the decision to put them all on fleece.

He was right down in the dumps after his surgery, he stayed in his cosy and didn't move. No interest in food or anything. Was very worried until he suddenly perked up as soon as he saw the girls and doing all kind of moves and stuffing his face.

Even though it didn't work out with the five Rory now has two very beautiful rescues who he's constantly wooing and seems a very happy chappy. All the best for Thor :) he's gorgeous! I want him :D

I am so pleased I managed to convince the husband to let me keep Thor - he is the cutest bloomin' thing I ever did see :luv: Just hoping the girls agree!
