Truffle and Polo

No wheezing this morning or last night 👌🐾🙏 The doxy metacam sandwich went down fine, although it took a little while to get Polo to start sucking on the syringe. Both boys are always ready for stroking and Truffle purrs away happily. Polo bruxes on my lap during after medication cuddles. They still don't like being picked up, although Truffle will usually sit still in the playpen and if Polo wants to go back to his cage, he will stay still to let me puck him up ❤

Glad the wheezing has stopped. Fingers crossed it will be sorted for good 🤞🏻
 
I had some mould on an outside wall above a cupboard. I've cleaned it up. Perhaps this was the source of Polo's wheezing. I wonder 🤔
 
I put Dettol spray on it, but have to be careful of the fish 🐟
 
Coca Cola would probably work too.
In the dim and distant past I worked for a bank.
One day someone came in with a bag of coins they’d found with a metal detector.

We decided to clean them by putting them in a bowl of Cola from the vending machine.
It worked wonders.
Might work with mould too.

Small dose of Metacam with normal doxy dose at the end of it. Today is the last day of the two week course of antibx commenced after the relapse post one week of doxy. Perhaps I should stop now rather than starting another two week course as Polo is not wheezing currently. I've Dettoled the wall and will have to see what can be done about it when it is a bit warmer and dryer. I've got two air purifiers on to avoid poisoning my fish. The doxy is going down OK. There is a drip on the syringe nozzle from the Metacam and if I put it onto Polo's lips, he starts looking for the Metacam. There must be something about that stuff that is very agreeable because sugar water doesn't interest him. It really is guinea pig delight, like ice cream or something. Polo: 😎 MS: 🙄
