Lol ok so it seems Furby likes zucchini but Fancy will only eat the skin if any of it when I deep cleaned the cages over the weekend shed been chucking the pieces under stuff lolNot too often with the tomato. Your piggies are the one in millions who eat zucchini!
I’m gonna pick up another cucumber soon and I’m gonna swap zucchini out for something else so what should I try with them next?
Theyll be getting bell pepper, coriander/Cilantro, and cucumber already so maybe some celery? Or a cut up strawberry? I know you said stay away from fruit but it’s on the almost daily part of the list and strawberries are one of the lower sugar berries
I’ll try celery first cause my family likes celery Incase they don’t but then maybe I’ll try to find Fennel/Anise that’s another one I’ve got no clue of lolYou could try Fennel/Anise, but I wouldn’t give it everyday. Maybe every other. Autumn isn’t a huge fan of celery and prefers Fennel more.
I just realized I haven’t looked at the food chart on this forum I’ve been looking at one on an American forum I’m gonna check the one on here out now that Ive realizedWhich list were you looking at, the one on here? I don’t think any fruits (or carrots) are recommended to be given almost daily.
Try celery as you’ve said. And maybe green beans as well.

Ok thanks the rest will go to my potbelly pig then they don’t really seem to care about it anywaySweet potato should be an occasional treat, its more of a high calorie superfood for piggies who arent eating enough or have lost a lot of weight through illness than a regular thing. Mine get a teaspoonful each of grated sweet potato about once every 2 weeks. Its like double-calorie high protein carrot!
I didn’t pick any up but I’d it any good as a treat?
Ok thanks it looked good to me but I wanted to double check since it was at Walmart and cause I’m still learning what’s good and not goodI bought this the other day - my piggies LOVE it! I give it to them on a day it rains and I can't go outside to cut grass for them. Rosewood is usually a good brand.

Maybe I’ll have to pick some up cause I can never get grass from my lawn cause we’ve got a house of stray cats on one side of us and the other neighbor lets their dog potty in our yard
I’ve been thinking about trying to but I’ve gotta find a good spot in my room for it first though I wonder if instead of using wood chips or paper bedding in the kitchen if you could grow grass in the kitchen? You could always try to grow it indoors in a pot.
Why not? Just curiousKale shouldn’t be fed every day either. Not sure about collard greens, mustard greens or turnip greens.
Kale is high in calcium and can cause kidney and bladder stones. Like spinach or broccolli, a small amount once or twice a week (and only 1 of these high calcium veg in any one week!). Growing your own grass and herbs is a great ideaWhy not? Just curious
