Miss Minnie has been having problems with her poops for awhile now. Seems like it comes and goes. I’ve noticed with her poops that some will be quite small with points on both ends. Some will look perfectly okay. Others will have a slight point on one side. Also not sure if this is a huge deal but some of her poops look like swirls. One side is a darker brown and the other side is a lighter brown. I’ve also noticed small holes on some of her poops. It almost looks like they have a clear film over the little holes sometimes.
She is acting completely normal, has not lost any weight whatsoever. I thought she could be dehydrated but I believe she’s started drinking more water. Like I said, some are normal and then some are just extremely weird. I’m kind of just lost at what to do right now. I don’t want to take her to the vet if it isn’t necessary. Here are some pictures.

A digestive upset can produce some strange or soft poops. The normal advice for that is to remove veg from the diet for a few days and only feed hay and the normal limited amount of pellets. If things dont improve without veg in the diet, then please see a vet.

This is a bit of an update. It’s been a while since I posted but minnies poops went back to normal for a while. Now her cage mate is having molar problems again so she is going Wednesday to get them trimmed again.
Well perfect timing because I started seeing these poops in the cage! I believe these are from minnie still (same pig from original post). I started her back on a probiotic but I don’t get why she would have these? Her cage mate is a bit poorly right now. She is still eating and drinking okay. Would Penelope having problems interfere with Minnie?
