I've just picked up Toast and felt something on her foot. At first I thought it was a bit of poo stuck to her paw pad so I tried to flick it off, but it's actually her own skin that's cracked...
She didn't seem to be bothered by me touching it or playing with it, she's not walking funny or acting like she's in pain..

It's really noticeable because this paw is black and the skin undeneath is pink.

Any ideas what this is?
(Sorry it was really hard to get a non fuzzy photo, she wriggles a lot..)

Is difficult to see. Bumblefoot is a possibility. Is she walking on it OK?
I know I was struggling to get a non fuzzy photo. She's walking absolutely fine. I've had a look at threads about bumblefoot and it doesn't look like that I don't think. There's no scab or crustiness, it's like the skin on her pad is flaking off..

I seen Gorgeous Guineas do a foot cream for dry, cracked skin but it would take quite a few days to get here, is there anything I could use that I'd having lying about the house or something I could buy from Boots etc?

It may do for a few days or some people use Sudocrem, I always worry about them licking it though. Olive oil would be better in that respect. I would order either the Gorgeous Guineas or something like the Humilac spray I use on my skinnies.
