Hello. So recently my guinea pig of six years has passed only a few days ago, and I have left over food that's still pretty brand new. I want to potentially donate it to an animal shelter, but the food is opened and poured inside of a container I used to use during feeding time.
I've only scooped out of it at least three to five times, but I'm uncertain if they will take it or not if I bring it in. Any ideas what I could do with it? Or if they will even accept it?
P.S the food is from the Oxford brand specifically for senior pigs.

What a lovely thing to donate to a rescue. We are a UK based forum but if you look on this website there are some US rescues, hope one is near you. Otherwise you could look online or maybe donate to a food bank (in the UK you can donate pet food) good luck
