COVID-19 Who's had the vaccine?

I would clap along with you but I managed to get my bra on
I would have offered to give you a hand, but you managed without me and your hubby would’ve probably given me a black eye

joking aside, I hope we’re all cope ok with the current covid situation. Sit tight guys, let’s hope this horrible virus blows over soon so we can get back to normality soon! :luv:

I had mine yesterday morning. I need not have worried. It was brilliantly organised and the stewards were lovely.
I’ve had no side effects....although my arm is purely for decorative purposes this morning.....rather sore and achy!

Which vaccine did you have? I actually managed to lay on that side last night though it was still a touch sore (it's the side I normally sleep on too)

Sam finally has his first tomorrow, just hope he manages to have it! He's severely needle phobic, he's got diazepam from the doctors but he's never managed a blood test or injection since he was a child, I really really want him to have it though 🤞 xx

Hope he is able to go through with it when he gets there. Is he having it at your usual surgery, or at one of the big centres? Either way if it were me, I'd mention it to all the staff I spoke to, they must have something in place for needle phobic people.
Maybe something in this might help Covid-19 vaccine support - Anxiety UK

Thankyou 💖 at a vaccine centre, his dad is going with him for support I hope he gets through it too, he was unwell when he had covid and still suffers fatigue and some symptoms now after over 5months ii really worry about him getting it again or getting another strain

I had the Pfizer 1st dose yesterday at 12:30. Nothing but a sore arm til about 10:30 when all of a sudden I thought I was going to pass out I just went really light headed. Barely made it to bed and fell straight asleep. Woke about an hour later going a bit hot and cold then vommed and straight back sleep. Luckily the baby decided last night was a good night to sleep through from 7pm til 6:30 and I'm feeling quite a lot better now
I had Pfizer too. Started out for a walk that evening and came over light headed and started to panic I was going to collapse in the street! but made it home ok. I had my second jab on Saturday and this time was not light headed (also didn't go for a walk lol) so hope your second will be better for you too.

Oh crikey that must have been a bit worrying for you. I think I will book my next one on a Friday again so I know the hubby is around should I have any funny turns but fingers crossed it's a great sign that my body has reacted well and built the antibodies so doesn't have much to do next time round

Anyone that has ever been in a ball pit never needs another vaccination again 🤢🤢🤢 if want to challenge your immune system then go digging to the bottom of one of those 😂
I have a massive phobia of ballpit balls from beeing a child, I really wish I could go to soft play but that's daddy's job 😷 does anyone know if there's still no ballpools in soft plays? 😂

It wasn't he had to take diazepam from the doctors 😷

I think the thing to focus on is that he sought help to overcome a barrier to having the vaccine. Let's not forget the vaccine is optional and the easy option would have been not to have it so well done to him, he should be very proud of himself.

Had my 1st on Friday last week. I had Pfizer. Very few side effects. Arm hurt if I held it up, but no worse than when your brother/sister use to give you a dead arm as a kid. And I had a high temperature once or twice a day for about 5 days, wasnt even that hot, just enough to be uncomfortable.

I was one of the lucky ones that skipped the queue as I got one of them expiring/unused doses, got the second to last dose. Feel so glad!

As someone who works in a school of over 1000 kids I was getting frustrated at my friends who all work from home being vaccinated for minor historic illnesses. Particularly with this being the week Boris decided kids dont need masks in school..... I still struggle to understand why certain jobs weren't given priority vaccines!
