I'm so worried, Wilma didn't come out for her veggies I topped her up before going to work and called to check on her she's not great. She was just at the vet on Friday but seems to have declined further.

Thankfully my mum and dad are going to take her to the vet but the first apt I could get was 6.40 :(.

I can't believe she waited till I was back at work :(:(:(.

Oh no, hope she will be ok. Big hugs x

Oh Jo! Please let us know how she goes. Fingers firmly crossed for you both. x

They do seem to have bad timing don't they! I get the same problem...

Fingers crosed she will be feeling better soon, seems to be alot of poorly piggles at the moment! :( x

Her timing is really awful, there reallly does seem to be something in the air :(, Wilma has never been this poorly, poor girlie :(.

I hate having to work, when I know they need me.

Oh no! Poor Wilma :(
Let us know how her appointment goes later. Take care ((((hugs)))

Any news Jo? x

Thanks everyone for the kind messages, Wilma is a wee bit brighter still a bit off. She recently had problems eating so she had a small dental. She hadn't been great but I had already been topping her up for the last few days. I was really concerned about her this morning and very glad she seen the vet. She appears to have bloat which is obviously making her miserable I'm going to give her as much support as I can over the next few days between sleeping and working, if however she's still poorly we will need to do some more tests.

I got lots of hays delivered today and she's been slowly sampling them which is a very good sign I've also topped her up. x

Oh not bloat. That will explain why she was so low in her mood. I hope she gets better soon.

Keeping fingers and paws crossed for you and Wilma, healing wheeks to your little lady x

Only just come on the forum, and so sorry to read about Wilma. Am sending her my best healing thoughts.

Poor Wilma :( Bloat is just horrible.

Hope she gets better soon, she's in the best of hands with you. It's good news she is eating her hay samples. Love to Wilma and big hug to you x

Wilma was a bit more alert this morning however she's still hiding a lot but she did come out to sit on the fresh hay and attempt a nibble didn't go much further than that though. I'm off to work but I did manage to feed her at 4am, 6.30am and 8.30am so in total she's had about 50ml's that's not including last nights feeds. She is also passing a small amount of poops, which is a step in the right direction, I haven't as yet seen a huge improvement good news is I'm off work tomorrow.

I have informed Fred, he's to chase her as much as he likes to make her move and I had her out in my room making her run about, hopefully that will help her gut keep moving!

Thank for the kind messages, just hope we can get her though this!

:)) I'm sure he'll enjoy that! Has she had any Gut Stims?

She on quite a high dose of Emeprid and infacol to help with the gas. I'm hoping this is just the bloat but I wouldn't be surprised if we're back at the vets on Monday.

That should certainly help get it moving again combined with her feeds. It all comes at once doesn't, keeping fingers crossed for her. They do look so miserable with bloat.

You must be shattered Jo. I hope she's being a good girl and taking her feeds well for you. Glad she's pooing, fingers crossed she starts to perk up a bit more x

I hope Fred is following orders! You making her run about made me laugh as I used to do this for my Hazelnut when he was single - he now has his cagemate Peanut Butter to make him move. Seriously though, you seem to have your hands full with both Wilma and Fred being poorly. I do hope this all resolves very soon.
