It is difficult to know how dental disease is going to pan out. Small spurs can continue to reform and cause issues, or they may not! It is going to be a matter of seeing how she goes. Are your vets able to examine the mouth without the need for GA? Ideally I would recommend a re-check in a fortnight to see how things are looking then.
my vet has done concious dental work in the past but stopped as he felt there was some risk involved. He has said he could do it under sedation for Toast, not necessarily GA but Toast is far too anxious a piggy and everything terrifies her so I don't think she would tolerate dental work without sedation. She gets very nervous and agitated when other people but myself are holding her so I can't even imagine what she'd be like if he attempted dental work concious...
