The title says it all. I have an apple tree in the garden and I wonder if I could give my piggies some of the apple trees' twigs and branches but I do have some other questions

1.Do I need to prep them in any other sort of way except washing them
2. The twigs look relatively young and I wonder if they still could be fed to them.
3. Should I remove the leaves or leave them as they are

Here as some pics of the twigs

They can eat it all - leaves and bark.
My piggies and bunnies love them. The leaves are slightly higher in calcium if I remember correctly so give sparingly.
I actually dry the leaves and use them as forage throughout the winter

This post has reminded me that I need to top my apple tree to get the last few leaves off before autumn proper. I also do the same as @Piggies&buns and dry the leaves as part of my mixed forage - my apple tree doesn't producce very nice fruit, so the leaves are the main harvest for me.

Hi, I’m a new piggy mum. Could you explain how to dry out leaves for Winter and the best way to store them. Thank you.
