Beans&Toast
Adult Guinea Pig
ThanksSo glad it all went well
I only kept my 2 separate for a day, I knew they would be fine together once Tilly was eating and Hettie wasn't eating much on her own, she relies totally on Tilly's confidence!
I kept Tilly just on puppy pads for the first day or so with hay in a pile away from her bed. She started lying on it after a couple of days but I didn't out any back in her bed for a week or so.
I gently checked the wound twice a day to check for any inflamation, have you got painkillers and antibiotics to give her?
Hope she continues to do well![]()

I'll keep them separate for a couple days just until I see Beans pooing normally again (she isn't pooing

I've got Loxicom for pain relief and Emeprid to help with the bloat. My vet doesn't give out anti biotics after surgery with guinea pigs, only if they need them. I'm off work until Sunday so I'll be watching her like a hawk until then
