TAN
Adult Guinea Pig
I'm with Vicky - it could well be scar tissue (I have had 2 sows spayed and a third will be done next month ) and Noodles had a bit of a lump form which was scar tissue - but it wouldn't hurt to bring the check up forward.
Update on Beans:
She's been doing really well, the seroma had almost went away completely and her wound was looking amazing last night, really clean and healthy looking.
This morning she came running out for her veg and even seen her popcorning and running. Got her out to check on her and I could feel wetness all over her stomach, had a look and it was blood.
She's somehow managed to tear the stitching out and rip a bit of her wound open.
The vet took her in right away and had a look. He said he'd prefer to put a staple in it to hold it together rather than putting her through another operation to re- stitch it.
It was done within 15 minutes and she handled it really well, she seems fine munching on her hay now
I'm so upset for her, she's been doing so well, last night her wound looked amazing and her seroma had went right down and now this, I could cry for her![]()
