Hi,
I'm having issues with my two male boars. One is roughly 6yr while the other is 2yr, and I had to separate them in January due to the older boars health being bad.
The problem I'm having now is I would like to reintroduce them, but everytime I try they rear up at one another and show signs of agression. My younger boar dosent seem to be accepting when either him or my older boar is dominant and dosent give up asserting his dominance. I would really appreciate any help on how I could make the bonding process easier for them.

Hi!

Please keep them as next door neighbours with interaction through the bars for mutual stimulation and companionship. Once piggies have made up their mind that they don't suit, they won't go back together. Ever.

Sorry for the bad news.

So them sleeping next to one another by the bars is not a way of them telling me they want to be together? I always feel so guilty when I see it 😔

That’s a way for them to Mark their territory. Doing so isn’t necessarily a positive sign. I’m sorry they wouldn’t go back together. Unfortunately medical separation can do that.

I don't mind, aslong as they are happy living alone then that's all that matters to me. I won't try bonding again and just keep them separate with a barrier :)
Any tips on helping with them being territorial over the divider?

There’s nothing you can do. They’ll be okay and it won’t amount to anything.
