New to the sight so not sure if this is the right place to post but,
iv had my guinea pigs for half a year now and i am constantly upgrading cage to make more room as they grow and to make sure they have enough space.
They currently have the correct 7.5 square space for them but as there are two of them i'm constantly trying to find the space to upgrade there cage.

As i have said i am currently at the correct amount of space but i am trying to find ways to make there cage a little more fun, i have found a cage that is just a little bigger by 5cm or something. I am looking to get this cage. The point of me getting this cage would be because i dont have any room to expand at the moment but maybe the extra floors would make it more fun for them. The reviews say it is good for guinea pigs as well as hamsters. (It is not a small cage dont worry, it is roughly the 7.5 square + extra floors)
I just wanted to get some opinions on it.
The cage i am looking to get is from ebay and doesn't have the houses and toys taking up space unnecessarily :) I have attached a picture below.

We will have extra space soon but for now as a temp what are your thoughts?
Thank you :)

I think those ramps would be too steep for piggies, that looks more like a hamster cage to me.

Piggies like a flat surface, my Bella for example likes to do zoomies and runs like The Flash around and around her 4x2 C&C cage. Piggies aren't natural climbers and all that ramp space and upper levels will actually take away the floor space they will have so it will be smaller than you think.

Idk what everyone else thinks, but that's my opinion. In fact I saw this when I was looking for a cage and I thought it was just for hamsters/gerbils lol.

Yeah I agree, too small for piggies. Would be better to have a large flat area for them to run. It looks more suitable to hamsters..
Maybe worth having a look at c and c cages? 5x2 would be the size needed for 2 piggies, if that's possible with the space you have

I have a 3 by 2 already and will be making it bigger when we move into another room but i just thought for now if that would be better than the 3x2? and I'm talking a matter of weeks here? :)

I'd say the 3x2 cage is better than that wooden one. Piggies prefer to run laps rather than run up ramps. As long as they get out throughout the day for some floor time then the cage you have just now will be fine  x

Definitely agree with @Beans&Toast , plus they could injure themselves on those ramps. Not worth the risk, or expense for a short amount of time I'd say!

Hi,

That is a intresting cage, with my pigs they love haveing lots of floor space to run around and make a mess ! I think that looks a little on the steep side for a pig , I've herd the CC cages are very good or pets at home sell a 4 ft by 2ft 2 storey cage that would have lots of floor space. If you have space I'd give a cc cage a go lots of help and advice re them here !
