Good evening,
I have three guinea pigs in the same cage and when I’ve been spot cleaning their cage, I notice small poops. Some a decent size smaller than the others. I do have an Abyssinian, and two Americans. While my Abyssinian is a bit smaller than the other two, I’m not sure if these poops are normal size or a cause for concern. My Abyssinian weighs 805 grams. How small is a cause for concern? I am not sure who is giving the small poops. I just cleaned all the poops to keep an eye on them for the next few days.

Piggy poops can vary in size between piggies. As long as they look otherwise normal in consistency etc and there are plenty of them then that is good. Keep an eye on all their weights to ensure they are all eating properly.

Yes even healthy piggy poops do vary quite a bit between individuals, which can be helpful to check that everypig is pooping fine, if you can spot what is normal for each piggy! As long as they are firm enough to pick up without squishing like you are doing in the photos, its probably all perfectly ok :)
