Glad to see she's doing well
pain is a common cause of appetite reduction, Guinea pigs have such a fast metabolism that the medication soon wears off, so with an operation such as hers the painkillers have to be dosed to the max to start off with & given as evenly as possible during the 24hr period, especially for at least the first 3-4days.
A Guinea that's happy to eat will make a much faster recovery than one that isn't interested in food. Their digestive system & hydration levels need to be monitored & kept in tip-top condition to give them the best chance of good general health, which will reduce infections and aid a full recovery.
You're doing wonderfully well so far, she's beautiful too
Keep up the good work, I bet you're exhausted?
Fingers & paws all crossed here for a full & speedy recovery
Xx
