Guinea pig suddenly stopped eating; producing clumpy, soft poop

Hi! My guinea pig, Muffin, suddenly stopped eating yesterday; he's simply been sleeping. I've noticed he squeaks when he poops, he also produces very soft and clumpy stools. I've been giving him Critical Care (15ml every 3 hr) and Pro-C probiotics diluted with water (5ml every 3h). Apologies if these don't seem like good feeding amounts/times. I really need some help here as I'm not sure when he can be taken to a vet because of my parents. For now I'm going to continue giving him probiotics and Critical Care; I simply need some advice as to what I should do. He's 4 years old and 1040 grams (as of yesterday). This is my first thread. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Please switch to weighing him daily. This is your guide as to how much critical care to feed him - if his weight remains stable he’s getting enough, if it drops, then he needs to be fed more often.

Please also remove all fresh veg from his diet until his poops normalise. It’s good youre giving him probiotics.

However, neither the probiotics or syringe feeding will cure an illness - they are simply emergency measures which you step in with until you see a vet. Squeaking when toileting suggests he is experiencing some pain. He does need to see a vet and you/your parents do have duty to provide vet care for him.

Thank you for the advice. Muffin is booked for a vet appointment today at 4:30, luckily! There is no fresh veg in his diet, mainly because he just isn't eating anything. He will be weighed daily. Hopefully he'll be back on his road to recovery!

Hopefully the vet can work out what’s wrong, an ultrasound and x ray may help to rule out anything obvious, always try and ask to do the x ray conscious first as it is possible if the piggies sit still in a box xx my girl has had four x rays now and a box and blanket did the trick xx

It was a mass in his stomach. Wasn't worth an x ray as the vet said it wouldn't be possible to remove, and surgery wasn't an option because he was already very weak. Only option was to let him go
