New pup wont move legs

Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum and really am worried about my Guinea's new pup. She hasnt been moving around like the piggy pups I see in Youtube videos. While she is ambulatory, she has great difficulty using her legs to move around. She was only born yesterday so I am not sure how much of this is usual or if she has something like scurvy... I'm not sure of the quality of her nursing as her mom can be a bit skittish, but I do see the two huddled together a lot. When she does try to move on her own its more of a crawl where her pelvis does like a thrust but her back legs dont really move as they should. Is any of this normal? Could she have been born lame or with a nuero dissorder?

Yeah i think so. I am afraid to stress her out and take her out of the cage from mama for that long :/ I do work in a building with an exotics vet so I will ask tomorrow.

Thank you for replying to my message last night. Unfortunately Butters passed this morning. I peaked in the cagw to check on her and she still wasnt looking good so i took my fiance to work and called the vet but when i got home she was gone.

So sorry you lost your little baby. I guess that she was born with something (or things) wrong with her, and there probably wasn't anything you could have done. I believe I've read that guinea mums can sometimes tell when a newborn isn't going to survive, and don't feed them as they do healthy ones. Did your mum have any other babies?

Editted to add, Just read your Rainbow Bridge post. Sorry to see that there was also a stillborn baby. Poor mum and poor you
