Hello, when I was holding my guinea pig I saw a piece of lifted fur up and decided to lift it up and saw this... have no idea what it is and it looks like some kind of Infection. At first I thought it was a scab but looking at it more closely it doesn’t look like a scab. I plan to take him to the vet this week, but does anyone know what this might be and how to treat it? Thank you. He is my first guinea pig that I love had for 3 years now, and this is the first time it’s happened. His name is kuno. I’ve inserted some
Photos and I’m super worried about him.

Hi!

It looks like a small burst sebaceous cyst to me. Please see a vet if you see signs of infection or if it refills and grows bigger.
Sebaceous cysts are very common and harmless unless they become infected or grow large.
