Pigging Out

We took Carson today to get his post op check in University of Liverpool Vet Practice. Everything was fine with him and they want us to continue checking his wee for glucose once a week and update them via email. Vet said it's weird that Carson has diabetes at such a young age and she wants to see any difference. If not then they'll do another blood test. She was wondering whether it's really type 2 coz Carson is not fat in the first place.

Anyway, what's weird though was the vet is Kristina Hunter, who used to be the vet we see in Cheshire Pets in Holmes Chapel! She entered the room and I was thinking she looked familiar. Then she said to hubby "I know you!" 😂 I mean he always get that comment as they can't forget him because of his humour and they way he dressed. 🤣🤣 Just ask Debbie @furryfriends (TEAS)! So Kristina said she'll be there permanently now so we would be seeing her again. 👍

Carson and Bodie: "We finally have grass after 4 days of starving! The slaves managed to get out and dig through all the snow in the village to go shopping and look for the grass. Then they said the main roads are all clear. They could've done that a couple of days before if they really cared for us! 🙄"

Happy Anniversary for tomorrow.
Hope you both have a wonderful day
Thank you! ❤️ We're off on our holiday today. 😁

The piggies have been dropped off at The Rural Rabbit Retreat for their own holiday for 3 weeks. Carson (hiding in his fleece bed) is as usual scared of not being in their own house (for now) but Bodie has settled right away and eating from the get go. I'm going to miss them! ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you all. ❤️

We watched the tennis at Indian Wells the first week and we've seen so many tennis players we wanted to see. It was so flipping hot though and too much walking. 😂 I think hubby and I had a shock from all of it but we really enjoyed it and hopefully we can go again next year.

After that, we spent 8 days in Las Vegas, just having a relaxing time. Our last day was spent in Big Bear Lake in California and tried to see the famous bald eagles Jackie and Shadow. We did see glimpses of them out of pure luck as they have been nesting 2 eggs at the moment so quite limited time of chances to see them flying around as they are tending to their eggs.
