Junior Guinea Pig
Hi!
The other night I noticed Minnie squeaking/almost like straining while she was pooping. I immediately got her out and her poops were very soft. They weren’t shaped at all and (this is gross) but really sticky since they were so soft. I massaged her belly, have been giving her gripe water as she’s usually a pretty gassy Guinea and probiotics everyday. I don’t notice any squeaking while pooping anymore but her poops are still soft. Minnie was just at the vet not even a week ago and the vet said everything looked good. Only for a few days later, this to happen.
A day after Minnie’s episode, I noticed mocha doing the SAME THING. Her poops are very soft and she’s also squeaking while pooping now. I noticed a very thick calcium deposit in mochas cage and it wasn’t gritty at all. Just very thick and powdery. Can anyone help or does anyone have an idea what it is or what I can do?
*Just want to add that mocha and Minnie do not share a cage together.
