White chunky stuff in my guinea pigs' bums.

Hi there!
I have two 1 1/2-year-old male guinea pigs. I was cleaning both of their grease glands, when I came across this really gross, greasy, white, stinky stuff coming out of their bums. It is kind of gritty and has pieces of shavings and hay in it. It smells HORRIBLE! Does anyone know what this is, and will I need to take my piggies to the vet?

Boars are very lovely but quite smelly when it comes to dealing with their bits! I find the easiest way to give them a good old clean up is with some luke warm water and a cotton bud.
