Lots of love to Eliza, your doing so well for her x x
Thank you
How is Bon Bon getting on? Did her eye weep at all after the op? xx
Yes, we have had a bit of weeping on Bon Bons eye but not till a few days after the op. It happened with Biscuit to. How is Eliza getting on now?
Bon Bon is a lot better but still not 100% having to take her to sleep alone at night xx
I'm at the vets every 3 days for injections and I feel the same. You can tell they miss their guinea pig pals. Bon Bon is still sleeping indoors but spends her days in the hutch unless out n cant keep a check on her.
Hope Eliza is back with her friends asap xx
I have had so much bad luck with my piggies this year and am not capable of looking after them properly. After the group I have now, I have made he decision not to have anymore.

Thank you. I may try that. I didn't know you had been through similar.
The vet said that the pus is more liquidy rather than cottage cheesy. Not sure if that makes a difference.
Eliza is fine in herself although I know she is missing her friends.
Looking at her from the left hand side, you wouldn't think there was anything wrong with her. She is eating and drinking fine and thankfully regained the weight she lost after the first surgery.
I just feel so guilty to the other 3 and I am due to move house in just less than two weeks so don't know what I'm going to do if Eliza hasn't improved by that time![]()
We havent Claire but when Miss Moo was rescued by RSPCA she had puss coming out of an almost closed eye that had been left untreated for at least 3 months. She had an operation to remove the puss from the eye socket, but they couldn't find an actual eye. So Vicky may have an idea on time frames... As she nursed her through this i beleive
It is positive she is eating and drinking. Sorry you are going through all of this, wish there was something I could do to help. x
Thanks Lee. You are doing enough as it is just by being there.
I have just messaged Vicky through the rspca facebook page.
Awful that her eye was left untreated![]()
Aww Claire, sending you and Eliza hugs and hope that this nasty infection clears up soon, to put your mind at rest and so that Eliza can get back to something of a normal life.
I am off to the vets with Ruby tomorrow afternoon to find out what is going to happen with her eye that is all red and opaque, I have been treating her with fucithalmic eye cream, but there has been no improvement, I am fearing the worst myself.
I am sorry to hear this Sharon. Fingers crossed for Ruby.
With Eliza, there was no improvement with the drops and if anything, her eye got worse. I never expected this would happen though![]()
