Contemplating an extra piggy...

It would be worth considering a friend and keeping them as a pair? If you’re getting her

I'd like to try bond her with the herd but the deciding factor will be how gentle lovely Jezebel floof reacts to her. If she gets on with Jezebel she can join the herd, if she snaps at Jez and stresses her then its a fail and we'll consider keeping her seperate and getting her another friend. I want my lovely floof girl to be safe and happy most of all, as she's the one missing a special friend when Theo and Puggle are romancing together and Clover and Piggle are being crazy lesbian wrestlers :)

Piggy daddy doesnt like the name Lucy Lettuce, he said "you might as well name her Harriet Carrot" and I was like omg that would be awesome... but he thinks not. Lets see if piggy daddy and an unwanted piggy from Wales turn up by 9pm and then lets check "she" doesnt have monster testicles or something and fix her some dinner before deciding on a name :) she already has a name of course but I always feel a bit weird discussing rescued free ad piggies on the forum by their previous name in case their previous owner sees it and looks us up or takes offence...

I'm definitly going to keep checking this thread, pretty exciting haha. I take it its in north wales then?

I'm quite nervous in case this all goes wrong but if a piggy turns up then I reckon we have enough piggy experience and piggy supplies and spare cages and a good piggy vet on hand to sort it all out... my usual piggies know something is being plotted by the hooman peoples and they are all playing up tonight and bouncing around and turning over the furniture and food bowls and wheeking like crazy pigs!

hopefully she'll fit right in with my beautiful herd of cross-eyed Piggle and ratty-faced Theo and monster-chops wonky-leg Clover and bloaty skinny Puggle and curly toenailed barbered floofy wee pants Jezebel! Who are all very beautiful but thank goodness nobody would ever want to breed from them as they are all just too unique looking :)
Love the description of your herd! Another 2 hours to go and you may have a Lucy Lettuce or a Harriet Carrot!

Just got text! Piggy coming! White and lilac crested pink eyed something. Very pink scary eyes apparently. Think she's a misfit from someone breeding long haired lilac coloured piggies. Crested and patchy looking. She's on her way home anyway so best set up a quarantine cage!

That’s soooooo exciting! Pigtures pigtures pigtures!

I hate show breeders. Do you think this is what they were doing? I hate show dog breeders too. For example how much they have messed up german shepard dogs with the sloped spine

Can’t wait to see pictures!
I wish my other half would drive to rescue a piggy for me...i can’t even get him to get me a bar of chocolate from the village shop!
I'm not even allowed another piggy:soz: or a cute itty bitty hammy either:(

Congratulations.
I just knew as soon as I saw the thread title there would be another piggy.
Looking forward to pictures

I'll bet she's a real beauty anyway. I love lilacs and pink eyed or ruby eyed beauties.....

Gosh it's so exciting, can't wait for photos of our new girlie X wish my OH would let me have more, you are so lucky x

I expect so. I just wanted to know before I head off to the snore pit (he snores - I don't) I shan't complain though as he's been away for 10 days and I almost forgot what he looked like! I realise that I married a very handsome fella all those years ago! (Just over 31 to be precise.):love::love:

Very sad news... new piggy is very ill... she seemed a bit odd and floppy and we called the previous owner who insisted she just needed to settle and was scared... new piggy is at the emergency vet now as she hasnt moved all night :( guess thats what you get from free ads piggies and we've just been lucky in the past... poor piggy I guess her owner couldnt afford the vet fees or didnt want to pay them...

Oh poor piggie and poor you, that’s so sad. Hope she pulls through, all finger and toes crossed x
