So I asked my mom for permission to build a c&c cage. Of course, she said no. I tried explaining to her all the benefits for my piggy but her mind was set in place. She said she would only buy me a store bought cage. So, do you guys have any suggestions for where to find cheap yet spacious cages for my piggy.

I use a c&c cage, because pet shop cages are pretty small. I would look at some cages for rabbits because they will most likely be larger than the guinea pig ones. Check the measurements of the different cages, and make sure they have a good layout for your piggy. I hope you find a good one!

If you click on Forums at the top left corner, and scroll down to Housing and Enrichment there are some helpful links.:)

Thank you!

Yes rabbit cages and also check to see if they have a Midwest cage too

I would try sites like Gumtree or Ebay where bigger cages are sold for more affordable prices. Obviously there are some that will be too damaged etc but usually there is quite a few that just require a scrub and some tlc. :) perhaps the lower prices will convince your mum to get a bigger cage.

Where are you based (UK or USA)?
How much space do you have to work with?
Do you have any otehr pets in the house?
How many guinea pigs do you have?

I think if we knew a bit more about you and your piggies it would help people to offer suggestions which will work for your particular situation.
If you are UK based then www.zooplus.co.uk often have good deals on indoor cages.

Did she say why?
Are you in UK or USA?
I'm in the USA
I think right now we are having financial issues and she doesn't want to spend any money on my animal when she isn't spending any money on us

I have very little space maybe 30" by 40" at the most
I have no other pets
And I only have one piggy

C&C cages are much cheaper to build than any store bought cages.
You could buy a box of grids for about $20, and a piece of coroplast for $15.

If she insists on a store bought cage, these are the only cages that have enough space for piggies. Most pet store cages sold here in US are way too small.

To be honest you may struggle to find a cage that fits the space you have, which is why C&C grids would be ideal.
As you have quite a small space you need to make the most of it.
The Midwest cage that @lissie linked to above is a great option, and would also have enough space to allow you to get a companion for your piggie.
So if you could find a place to put it, that might be the best choice.
