i have a long haired male guinea pig and when we were doing his nails today and checking him over we noticed his hair was trapped in his genitals? we pulled it out slowly and he never made any noise so didn’t seem like it was painful and we’ve cut the hair that was stuck & the hair surrounding there but we’re not sure if we should take him to the vet to make sure it’s not caused an infection or anything? i’m not sure if that’s necessary but any advice would be great.

I would just keep a close eye on him over the coming days.
If he seems to be eating and toileting ok, then he is probabably fine.
Just keep it clipped short in future, but it sounds like you are already on top of that situation.
