Had to move Lilly's house hide farther from the wall because she is figuring out how to climb on top of it, and she's been eyeing the roof of the built-in hide and is just big enough to make that climb too. That climb and a leap, and she either hurts herself or pulls another jailbreak. For "ground creatures" this adorable little snot sure likes to climb.

This piggy isn't spoiled at all... 🙄

Her toys and beds are lovely! I would like to get a little seesaw. My piggies are very timid, but I think they could maybe learn to use a seesaw! You have a nice mixture of educational toys and cosy places to snooze in!

My person brought home an intruder... Or maybe a friend. Not sure yet. Trying to figure out which. I heard him call her Christi. Not sure what I'm going to call her yet. I don't think she's royalty like me, but she seems to have some pedigree.

Supervising the bonding right now. They are a little skittish around each other, but aren't fighting either. Seem to be feeling each other out. A lot of low key chatter and alternately sniffing each other and exploring the playpen I have them in.

So, while they get to know each other, a pair of personality profiles.

Liliath Carmelita, aka Caramel Lilly, aka Lilly is definitely a spaz. And a diva. She climbs, she explores every corner, and she will find the holes on the system. She's a smart, quick study, almost too much so for her own good. Of the duo, she definitely seems the most active and dominant even though she's smaller.

Christi (so named for Christine from the Phantom of the Opera-the quiet understudy to the diva... Get it?) seems far quieter and more reserved. She's curious but a bit shier. Where Lilly will dodge when she doesn't want picked up, Christi will shy and huddle. But she's a smart one too.

So I have the spaz and the quiet one. Both, I think, are destined to complement each other well. The cuddler and the runner.

Three hours in, and I think they are good. They are still a little nervous around each other, but they stopped posturing and squabbling. It looks like they are even playing little passive games with each other with the toys I put in there. Going to supervise another hour or so, and if they are good, then I will add more hay(good lord, are they eating a lot of it in there!) and a bit more water, then start cleaning up the enclosure.

So lovely to see them together! It's looking positive! It sounds like you have chosen well. Hoping the girls will get on together and be friends for each other. They look so sweet together ❤️ ❤️ Lilly and Christie are very cute!

Turns out Christi is really nice. And she's smart. She told me that she comes from a long line of ladies in waiting. I told her I needed just that... well, and a friend. She knows I'm the boss, but it really doesn't matter. I hope she stays. I think she will, because I can hear my (our? 🙏🥺) person making a lot of noise our there. I think he is getting things ready for both of us. I have trained him well.

Hi, everyone. Queen Liliath... she says I can just call her Lilly, but I don't quite know her that well yet... says I should say hi. My name is Christi. I think this is my home now. I hope it is. Queen Liliath is a bit hyper, but I think I like that. She definitely likes to play and explore. To be honest, I like to take my time, go a bit slower and figure things out a little more methodically. A Lady in Waiting... well, waits. But she brings out a more playful side in me too.

Anyway, since I am apparently living with her and this human (not really sure about him - Lilly says he MIGHT be okay), I guess she's right. I should introduce myself. She will, of course be talking more than me. It's her royal domain after all. But she said you might be my friends too. I sure hope so.

The new, improved enclosure for two

And in the new enclosure, Christi hides until she feels safe... Lilly explores until she feels nervous.

Polo: Truffle and I would like to congratulate Lilly and Christie on their great choice of slave! We wish them super times together and admire their lovely home 🏡 🐾🐾

That's a great result and they look lovely together. You will find their interactions very entertaining and, as you have already noticed, the different personality quirks can balance each other out. Might I advise that you need two bowls for pellets though unless you choose to scatter feed. ❤️

It’s lovely that she had a friend - I’m so glad everything has worked out.

I agree also - you need two bowls or better still, to not use food bowls at all. Scatter feeding their one tablespoon of pellets and veg each is much better for their mental stimulation

I kinda noticed that with the pellets. Not major squabbling, but definitely trading off on the "mine" instinct. The scattering makes sense.
