Sherwood Pet Health Vitamin C and Bioflavonoids

Ordinarily, guinea pigs do not need to be given vitamin supplements. They get all they need from eating hay and a variety of vegetables (and small amounts of pellets). The only time you need to give vitamins is if a vet diagnoses a deficiency (which isn’t very common). Giving vitamin supplements when a piggy has a healthy diet is at best, a waste of money, and at worst can mean that a piggy gets too much of some vitamins, and too much isn’t good for them either.
