Should I feed them 2 times a day or 3?

Hi! I have two boars (Patches and Carmal). After a lot of research I settled on 1 cup of veggies for each of them per day. Currently, I feed them 3 times a day. Kind of like breakfast lunch dinner. I don’t feed them a cup per meal. Instead, I feed 1/3 of the cup at each meal. I’m deciding whether to feed them 2 times a day or 3. I mostly just ruled out 1. Can people a picture of their daily veggie plate. If you don’t have a picture can you describe it please? It also may be worth noting that they have soft poop and white pee. I’ve been stopping their veggie servings until the poops turn more firm.

Thanks in advance!

I do the same as you - mine get a pasta bowlful each day spread through the day.
Usually a lettuce leaf with their morning hay & pellets. A little something like a packet of dill in the middle of the day and then the rest late afternoon.
There’s a mix of different veggies every day

So you do three meals a day?

I do one meal a day so I’m the opposite, they’ll get grass and the odd snack at varying times through out the day.

If their poos aren’t solid and their wee is quite white perhaps it would be worth doing 2 meals, to encourage them to eat more hay. Hay is 80% of their diet if not more. That way hopefully their poos will become more normal and perhaps less calcium based veggies will bring their urine to normal too :)

I do breakfast of a dandelion leaf or two each and a handful of pellets, then unlimited hay or grass (depends whether they have "mown" all the grass or not). In the evening I give them a dinner of veg.

It all depends how it fits into your life as to when you give your piggies veggies. It's best for me to give them in the evening.

I give a breakfast of lettuce, cucumber, pepper, coriander, green beans and sometimes a mini corn coblette to keep things interesting. They have grass and dandelions throughout the day (if we have any) unlimited hay and 1/8th cup of nuggets. They then get the same thing they had for breakfast for tea but my piggies are on a very low calcium diet.

I feed a cup each of veg per day. They get half in the morning and half in the evening.

Breakfast is a slice of pepper, cucumber, celery, a green bean and a lettuce leaf. Dinner is as above except lettuce is replaced with a sprig of coriander if I have any, and pellets. It would be hard work feeding three times a day. It’s bad enough they now beg for food if I delay and they hear me 🙄

I’ve stopped giving veggies until their poos become more firm. I’ll probably stick to 3 meals per day. If when I go back to veggies the post go soft again, I’ll change to 2 meals per day. Thanks for all the help everyone!

Per your request, I have enclosed a plate of veggies picture below.
I give mine veggies three times a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner. For lunch, I give them their Oxbow pellets along with one of the veggies shown below.
My boy Finn and Lara get endless supply of Oxbow Hay and I will enclose the picture of it also.

I personally wouldn’t recommend giving carrot every day (too much sugar) and definitely not every meal. I’d also be wary about giving celery leaves daily as it has a high calcium content and piggies are prone to bladder issues like stones and sludge.

To be honest, the best thing you can feed pigs is hand cut, safe and clean grass! Perhaps you could substitute one of the meals for that? :)
