Bonnie&Bean
New Born Pup
Hi Everyone
I have recently adopted a pair of female piggy’s who are approximately 2 years old. As it was a bit of a sudden recuse I quickly converted my hamster cage ( a converted IKEA wardrobe measures 120cm x 80cm) for the piggy’s to live in as my hamster had passed away and his cage was bigger than the ones the pigs come in. I really want to give them the best and for them to have the biggest amount of space possible. They live in my hallway under my stairs so I am a bit limited with space. However as the cage wouldn’t need to be as high I could fit a slightly bigger cage in.
I am unsure as to weather to try add another level to their current cage, make another diy wooden cage or build a c and c cage. Has anyone got any ideas or suggestions? Also is their current set up ok?
this is their current set up ( I leave half a lid on just so it’s darker for them)
I really do want the best for them so any ideas would be much appreciated ( I have looked on the housing thread for ideas but can’t see many diy wooden cages )
Thank you
