my guinea pig Eddy has had a runny nose for a couple of months now, but there was one day that some snot that dripped from his nose got a little crusty right under his nostril. I got rid of it with a q-tip and some water but after I realized there was no fur under where the crusty was. is that bad?
also, I realized the outside of his ears, (not the inside) is crusty and dry and I want some advice on that what can I do for him?

Please have your piggy seen by a vet for diagnosis and treatment, it sounds as if there are a couple of potential health issues which need investigating. Please do not be tempted to try any home treatments as they often makes things worse.

Please take your piggy to the vet soon as possible. Does he live alone?

Okay. Please take both of them for a check. How long have you had them?
