My piggy has mites and we did research as to what to get to treat him,and most people said to get mite treatment at our local pet store and when we looked they didn’t have any and have never heard of it which,so we came back and did more research and found neem oil.So we were able to get some but we can’t seem to find how often to apply it...it only stated not to leave it on for over 72 hours.does anyone know anymore about it?

Pet store mite treatment is never reliable. I would suggest taking your piggie to the vet, where they will give the right treatment and how often to apply it.

Hi! Please DO NOT home treat on spec with neem oil or cheap low dosed broad spectrum shop products.

Take the time to read this guide here: What to check and look out for in new guinea pigs (vet checks, sexing, parasites&illness)

PS: I am moving your thread to our health/illness section, which is specially monitored, for better support.
