Pellet Food Choices

For the longest time I've fed both my hamsters and guineas tiny friends farm food, but it's colourful and I know that's not always best choice but they love it! However I feel like I shouldn't now and should stick to oxbow pellets that just look like regular pellets, OR should I mix them? I'm so lost... I want what's best for them. Any advice?

Oxbow is better because of how much sugar is in them but at first I would just give the oxbow to them as a treat then lower the Gerty guinea pig and raise the amount of oxbow every day but don't put them in the same bowl because the guinea pigs will just pick and choose what they want.

Yes, change slowly as mentioned above mix in new with old and gradually phase out
