Finally - dates have appeared! Booked in for Saturday (then May)- hurrah!

As soon as I got the text that I could book, I booked the jabs before the most convenient dates and times went.Just booked my jabs for 27 March and 12 June.
I would mention you’ve had the vaccine but I don’t think it will impair any results of your blood test. My understanding is that it takes 2-3 weeks to kick in. You could phone your GP to check if you’d rather be certain . I hope everything goes smoothly for youI’ve got my vaccine booked for tomorrow, got a text inviting me to book at the wknd, thankfully in my town but my poor mum will have to travel out of town if she books hers!
A quick question to hopefully save me a long phone call to doctors, I’ve also got a blood test booked for 4 hours later, does anyone think this will be an issue? Don’t want false readings coming up of anything for doctors but not sure if it’s ok?!![]()

I’d say it depends what it’s for. If it is for a full blood count it’s a bit quick to see your white cells going up but I’d be wary of someone deciding the results were equivocal because of that and causing a delay. If you can get it done before that might be preferable.I’ve got my vaccine booked for tomorrow, got a text inviting me to book at the wknd, thankfully in my town but my poor mum will have to travel out of town if she books hers!

I called through to the hospital to ask, who put me through to the Covid jab place, they said it shouldn’t be an issue (but if it made me feel better to rebook bloods)I’d say it depends what it’s for. When we can finally go back into the vets, I am going to ask Simon to scan me for a microchip!![]()
And Priya, my cat!The microchip will say that the piggies are your owner! But we all know this to be true.
Daisy had me chipped years ago, along with that electrocution device her and Luigi had implanted so their meals are never late! And Priya, my cat!![]()
Similar note here. I went to put on a T shirt not worn from last summer to leave my upper arms free, it covered where it touched! Eventually found one that used to be too big.I had my first vaccine this afternoon and have to commend all the staff involved. I was treated like a Queen and was pleasantly surprised at how small the needle was. I was in and out before my appointment time. The biggest trauma was having to wear a bra for the first time in a year. Blimey I’ve gone from the middle clips to the outer ones and I thought my head was going to turn blue. For any of you who may feel nervous please be rest assured. From my experience it was pleasurable . The staff were lovely, up for a laugh and efficient. Note to self- no more Jaffa cakes, kitkats or Malteser biscuits
