Outside Time

Hi,

My guinea pig lives in a very large enclosure inside, with unlimited grass hay, hammocks, igloos, tunnels, and obviously a water bottle. He gets cuddles in the evening with his veggies.

I just wanted to check whether it was ok that he never spends time outside on grass? I haven't felt safe leaving him outside in the past and we don't have grass.

Yes it’s fine. Some countries aren’t safe for them to ever have outside time - heat and predators are too much of a risk

That makes sense, thank you! Very reassuring and yes it is difficult to manage the heat living in Australia
